BIAD Exhibitions
BIAD has a long tradition of utilising the open spaces around its various sites to promote and showcase the great work achieved by staff, students and external artists and designers. Currently there are four permenant spaces at the Gosta Green campus which are regularly used to exhibit work with additional spaces at the School of Art and the School of Jewellery and Silversmithing.

Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD) is gearing up to celebrate the best in contemporary art and design with this year's summer show exhibitions.
The events are a culmination of three years study and exploration by our students, and are a fantastic opportunity to view the eclectic range of fresh, innovative ideas our up and coming designers have translated into their final showcase.
The shows feature a selection of fashion shows and collections; graphic design; illustration; photography; animation and video; jewellery and silversmithing; product design; architecture and landscape; fine art; and textile and interior design.

Global Color /Trends 2009
NEC - Birmingham
Birmingham City University has linked up with UBM Live, the exhibition organisers behind Interiors Birmingham, and forecasting agency Global Color Research – mix publications, to present the future trends of the interiors industry.
The project will be launched at the Interiors Birmingham Exhibition, at the NEC, on the 18th January 2009 and continue to 21st January.
