Symposium: 'When We Build Let Us Think That We Build Forever'

As part of the events to mark the 125th anniversary of the opening of the School of Art in Margaret Street, the School is organising a full-day academic symposium examining the history of art schools and potential models for art schools of the future.
This will be held at Margaret Street on Friday 12 November 2010, and will focus on the changing roles of art schools since 1885 with an emphasis on their contemporary function at a time of rapid change. The event will include panel discussions as well as presentations by five keynote speakers.
